Fertilization Soak Recipe
Ingredients:
• 1 gallon of water
• 1 tablespoon of liquid seaweed extract (either homemade or store-bought)
• 1 tablespoon of baking soda
• 1 tablespoon of fish emulsion (optional, for additional nutrients)
• 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar (balances the pH)
Instructions:
1. Combine the water, seaweed extract, baking soda, fish emulsion (if using), and apple cider vinegar in a large container, stirring until fully dissolved.
2. Separate the garlic cloves from the bulb, taking care not to damage the basal plate, which is essential for root growth.
3. Submerge the cloves in the solution, ensuring they are fully covered, and let them soak for 12 hours, preferably overnight.
4. After soaking, remove the cloves, allow them to air dry, and then proceed with planting.
